Reception at Balmaceda airport. The trip begins travelling through Carretera Austral towards Puerto Guadal. The area destroyed by the eruption of Hudson volcano is seen on the way. After reaching the kilometre 228, the picturesque town of Puerto Tranquilo surrounds General Carrera lake.
Arrival to Hotel Mirador de Playa Guadal. Free time to rest. Lodging at hotel.

PUERTO GUADAL / VILLA LO CASTILLO / BALMACEDA
Transfer to Balmaceda, across the north shore of General Carrera lake, Murta river and Lo Castillo Nacional Park. Right before arriving to Villa Lo Castillo, there is a mark alongside the road that leads to a place where there are 10.000 year old hand paintings on display. Transfer to Balmaceda to take the flight back.
