1) Cascada Río Pingo (Río Pingo Waterfall):

The car ride departures to the Lago Grey Headquarters (about 30 minutes), driving by the path located before the hanging bridge cross, then continuing with a 2 hour walk through beautiful lenga forests and small valleys, to finally reach the Río Pingo Waterfall. On the way, you will have the opportunity of watching the flora and fauna of the place, which is different to the rest of the park as it is located in the west side of it.
At this place there is a vast difference in the vegetation. The area is humid, because of the constant rain.
Among the fauna, occasionally, it is possible to see some huemules (a small kind of deer), which have formed a kind of habitat in this area. This shy animal is normally hidden between the bushes and is under the protection of the Chilean government.

Duration: 7 Hours approximately.

2) Base of the Torres:

We will drive from the Hostería to the Estancia "Las Torres" (about 1 hour). The trip starts here, walking up by a clearly designed path. At first, there will be an area that lacks of vegetation, but then this will arise as we go into the valley of the Río Ascencio. There is a refuge called "El Chileno" (The Chilean) that is located on this way, where you could make a break if you want to. After 3 hours, we will finally arrive to the overlook of the Torres. At this place, you will enjoy the wonderful landscape, facing the magnificence of the Torres (Towers) with the beautiful lagoon in the middle of the small valley. Stones and rocks, resulting from the moraine deposited by an old glacier, form the last part of the climbing.
We will go back by the same path, then will return driving to the Hostería. If you want to, you can rest in the facilities of the Hostería Las Torres, before starting the back trip.

3) Base of the Glacier Grey:

Driving from the Hostería Tyndall to the pier located at the Lago Pehoé. At 09:00 a.m., we will start a half an hour sailing to get to the Pehoé refuge. From here, we will start a hardly difficult trekking to the Grey refuge or nearby. On this way, we will enjoy the wonderful view of the glacier as we come closer to it. This trek lasts about 3 hours. If you want, we can continue walking for about 2 hours to get to the refuge called "los guardas", from which we will observe, closer, the ice of the glacier. On the way back, it is important to consider that the boat sails from the pier at the refuge at 18:30 and it is not possible to make reservations.

4) French Valley:

Driving from the Hostería Tyndall to the pier located at the Lago Pehoé. At 09:00 a.m., we will start a half an hour sailing to get to the Pehoé refuge. From here, we will start an intermediate-level trekking to the French Valley. After about 2 hours, we will get to the "Italian campsite", from which it is possible to observe the magnificence of the Cerro Paine Grande (big Paine Mount) and its glaciar on the left, and the peculiar forms of the mounts that form the so-called "Cuernos del Paine" (The Paine Horns), on the right. We will continue out trip through the valley to get to the "British campsite", after two hours and a half. Once there, we will be in the middle of the mountain range forming the Paine, enjoying the amazing landscape and the silence of the nature.

On the way back, it is important to consider that the boat sails from the pier at the Pehoé refuge, at 18:30 and it is not possible to make reservations in advance.

5) Full Paine:

Departure from the Hostería, driving by the main road that leads to the Park, to visit the most interesting places. Our trip will start by visiting the beach of the Lago Grey, from which it is possible to see the floating ice in the lake and, as a background, the glacier Grey. We will walk by the beach to finally reach a small peninsula and see the real extent of the lake, the amount of floating ice in the glacier Grey and the origin of the Río Grey. The trip will continue to the "Salto Grande" (Large Waterfall), a waterfall existing between the lakes Nordenskjold and Pehoé. To get to this place, we must walk for about 20 minutes, then continue by the same path to reach the overlook of the Lago Nordenskjold, where you will enjoy the view of the lake and the Cuernos del Paine (The Paine Horns), which are just in front of you at a distance of 3.000 meters.
Then the trip will go on to the northern end of the Park, to the Laguna Amarga, which takes its name because of the color of the abundant algae, existing in its waters. Here you will see the imposing granite towers that were the result of the last glaciation. Our trip will continue then, to the "Cascada Paine" (The Paine Waterfall), an extraordinary waterfall formed by the waters of the Río Paine that flow over a rocks existing in the river bed. From here, we will start our back trip to the Hostería Tyndall.

6) Laguna Verde - Sector Lazo:

We will drive pass the Weber bridge over the Río Paine, to take the path that starts the climbing in the border of the main road. Through this path, we will get to the "Laguna Verde", after a 4-hour trekking. We will climb by the Sierra del Toro, a Cordilleran-like massif that forms the northern bank of the Lago Toro. During the first part of this trekking, you will see the Lago Toro on the right, and the Río Paine as a background. After crossing by some small lagoons and brooks, we will get to the Laguna Verde, located on the eastern end of the Park.

Back trip to the Hostería by following the same route.
